Cubs
Our Cub Pack meets every Wednesday from 6.30p.m. to 8.00p.m. in the Upson Room at the High St Methodist Church. The Pack is run by Dan Spiers, otherwise known as “Akela”, Sam Kinns and Peter Taylor.
There are loads of fun things that you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or the theatre. In the summer you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities. During your time as a Cub you will work towards achieving your Chief Scout’s Silver Award. You start Cubs when you are 8 and move on to Scouts when you are 10½.
